UCP of Central California offers programs and services for people with disabilities in seven counties of Central California; Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, and Tulare.
In 1954, we had one program and served 15 children. Today, more than 1,000 people with disabilities and their families receive services through 6 different programs. Each program is designed to fulfill our mission: to improve the quality of life for adults and children with a broad range of disabilities and special needs, including cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism, traumatic brain injuries, and other developmental disabilities.
All of our work is concentrated on a single goal: ensuring people with disabilities and their families have the opportunities we all desire.
We believe that while we might face different challenges, we all share the same goals and we all deserve the opportunity to achieve them.
